This reoccurs several times throughout the song and Jay-Z even models his chorus after Simone’s. “The Story of OJ” begins with a sampling of the chorus Nina Simone’s song, “Four Women”. In the video, there are images of a lynching and of the Ku Klux Klan. The video is based on the “Censored Eleven” cartoons which are cartoons released by Warner Bros that are now considered racist and depict many offensive stereotypes about Black people. It was ranked as the Best Video of 2017 by Rolling Stone Magazine. The video for “The Story of OJ” was released on July 5, 2017.
